Apply & track with Apply EdgeBrand and Role DescriptionThe TBS International & Duty Free Manager is focused on growing TBS export business globally. It is a new role for the company due to growing demand from export markets. As such, TBS is seeking an entrepreneurial individual that is interested in building out a new revenue stream for the company.The role is focused primarily on TBS’ domestic wine portfolio, including but not limited to SIMI, Lapis Luna, and Layer Cake. There are also many opportunities across our beer, spirits, and imported wine portfolio.Responsibilities of the role include:Identify highest potential international markets for the TBS portfolioEstablish relationships and contracts with export customers globallyAttend international trade shows (e.g. Wine Paris)Facilitate operational and compliance requirements for different countriesBuild a P&L that delivers sustainable, profitable growthWhere appropriate, work closely with TBS suppliers to facilitate export salesDevelop reciprocal relationships where TBS acts as importer for international suppliers, and then leverages those relationships to enter the Supplier's home market with proprietary brandsLearn route to market strategies and regulatory environment in various countriesDevelop outlets for occasional large-buy liquidations of slow moving stockCharacteristicsCommitted to learning: Seeks to learn, grow and develop continuouslyElite Communicator: Positive presence, self-aware, high emotional intelligence, succinct and clear when appropriate, comfortable with giving and receiving feedbackMultilingual: Preferably 1+ non-English languagesEntrepreneurial mindset: Embraces ambiguity and uncertainty of a start-up environmentEnthusiastic: Optimistic, energetic, and committed building a fun cultureSelf-starter: Takes initiative and makes decisions independentlyResults oriented: Doesn’t make excuses!
