The position is based in Altunizade, İstanbul.Job Roles DetailsDefine and oversee the company's global foreign trade, logistics, and logistics procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs legislation across all operations.Evaluate investment and international trade agreements from a strategic and commercial perspective, identifying potential risks and recommending financial and commercial risk mitigation strategies.Establish governance and approval mechanisms for import payment processes, ensuring financial control and alignment with company policies.Oversee customs compliance and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO/YYS) practices, ensuring audit readiness, effective internal controls, and adherence to regulatory requirements.Identify, assess, and manage strategic risks in international trade, logistics, and procurement, including customs regulations, taxation, geopolitical developments, supplier risks, and changing trade policies.Develop and implement strategies to optimize international logistics and procurement costs, improve supplier performance and delivery lead times, and enhance the efficiency of payment and collection processes.Lead strategic logistics procurement activities, including supplier selection and evaluation, contract negotiations, procurement policies, and the development of long-term partnerships with logistics service providers to ensure cost efficiency, service quality, and supply chain resilience.SkillsBachelor's degree in a relevant field.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Extensive knowledge of international trade regulations, customs legislation, and global logistics practices.Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and risk management capabilities.Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.ExperienceMinimum 20 years of professional experience, including at least 7-8 years of experience managing international trade and foreign trade teams.Thank you for taking the time to review our job advertisement.
