The trainee will support the accounting team with daily tasks such as recording financial transactions, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and updating ledgers and financial records. Responsibilities include helping prepare basic financial reports, organizing invoices and receipts, and supporting reconciliations under supervision. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, assisting with data entry into accounting software, and collaborating with project teams to track expenses related to construction activities. The trainee will be expected to follow established processes, learn standard accounting practices, and contribute to a structured and compliant financial environment.Qualifications Candidate should possess foundational skills in basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping.Candidate should possess skills in data entry, spreadsheet use (e.g., Excel), and familiarity with accounting or ERP software.Candidate should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling figures.Candidate should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Candidate should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with finance and project teams.Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (student or recent graduate) is preferred. Level 300 is a plus.Ability to work on-site in Kumasi, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality of financial information is required.Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word, and a willingness to learn construction-related financial processes will be beneficial.
