We are looking for a detail-oriented inventory professional who can maintain reliable stock information and support smooth day-to-day inventory operations.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Inventory Assistant / Stock Control Assistant / Inventory Clerk to support inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, data entry, purchase records, warehouse coordination, and inventory administration.The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with stock records, product data, inventory systems, suppliers, and multiple operational priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory records across approved ERP, WMS, spreadsheets, and stock-management systems.Record stock receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, issues, and dispatches accurately.Monitor inventory levels and identify low-stock, excess-stock, slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete items.Assist with daily stock control activities and maintain accurate inventory balances.Reconcile physical stock counts against system records and investigate discrepancies.Coordinate cycle counts, periodic stocktakes, and inventory verification activities.Prepare stock-count sheets, inventory reports, variance reports, and adjustment documentation.Verify product codes, descriptions, quantities, units of measure, locations, and other inventory information.Maintain organized records of purchase orders, goods-received notes, delivery documents, transfer records, and stock adjustments.Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory movements.Assist with tracking inbound and outbound shipments and updating inventory records accordingly.Follow up with suppliers regarding shortages, damaged goods, incorrect quantities, delayed deliveries, and missing documentation.Coordinate with purchasing teams regarding replenishment requirements and outstanding purchase orders.Assist with inventory forecasting and replenishment planning using established company procedures.Monitor reorder points, minimum stock levels, safety stock, and product availability.Support inventory allocation for customer orders, projects, retail locations, branches, or operational departments.Maintain accurate records for serialized, batch-controlled, lot-controlled, or expiry-sensitive products where applicable.Monitor product expiry dates and assist with appropriate stock rotation procedures.Support FIFO, FEFO, or other approved stock-rotation methods where applicable.Assist with returns, damaged inventory, replacement stock, and reverse-logistics administration.Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrections with authorized personnel.Identify duplicate product records, incorrect item codes, inconsistent descriptions, and data-quality issues.Assist with inventory valuation information, cost records, and supporting documentation for finance teams.Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery quantities, and receiving records where required.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for supervisors and management.Maintain stock trackers, inventory dashboards, shortage lists, reorder reports, and outstanding-action logs.Coordinate with sales, purchasing, finance, warehouse, logistics, and operations teams.Respond to routine inventory inquiries from internal departments and authorized external partners.Maintain secure and organized electronic and physical inventory documentation.Assist with internal audits, warehouse inspections, stock investigations, and compliance reviews.Follow company inventory policies, warehouse procedures, data-protection requirements, health and safety standards, and applicable UAE regulations.Escalate significant stock losses, suspected theft, unexplained variances, damaged goods, or unusual inventory activity according to established procedures.Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy, inventory visibility, replenishment processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of professional experience in inventory control, warehouse administration, supply chain, logistics, purchasing, retail, or operations is preferred.Experience managing stock records, inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, purchase orders, or warehouse documentation is advantageous.Strong understanding of inventory-control procedures, stock movements, replenishment, receiving, dispatch, and reconciliation.Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.Additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Mandarin, French, or Russian are advantageous.Exceptional attention to detail when handling product codes, quantities, stock levels, costs, and transaction records.Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills.Ability to manage multiple products, suppliers, locations, and inventory tasks simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate stock discrepancies systematically.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Workspace, ERP, WMS, and inventory-management systems.Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, filters, and inventory reporting, are advantageous.Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Odoo, Zoho Inventory, or comparable systems is advantageous.UAE or GCC experience in logistics, retail, manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, hospitality, or trading is advantageous.Experience with barcode, RFID, warehouse-management, or inventory-scanning systems is advantageous.CIPS, CILT, APICS/ASCM, inventory, logistics, or supply-chain certifications are advantageous but not required.What
