Benchmark Foods values passion, energy, and commitment, and recognizes its 250+ employees and long-standing customer relationships as key strengths.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inventory Controller role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Inventory Controller will monitor and manage stock levels across warehouses and distribution points, ensuring accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing goods. Responsibilities include conducting regular stock counts, reconciling variances, and updating inventory systems to maintain optimal stock levels for fast-moving food and beverage items. The role also involves coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to support timely replenishment, minimize stock losses, and ensure compliance with food safety and storage standards. The Inventory Controller will prepare inventory reports, analyze stock trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Qualifications Strong stock control, stock management, and inventory control skills, with experience in high-volume distribution or FMCG environments.Analytical skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and resolve stock discrepancies.Effective communication skills to collaborate with warehouse, logistics, sales, and procurement teams.Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems; strong MS Excel skills.Knowledge of food safety, HACCP standards, and temperature-controlled warehousing is an advantage.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work accurately under time pressure.Previous experience as an Inventory Controller or similar role in the food and beverage or distribution sector preferred.Relevant diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
