Inventory Controller (Jewellery)

Role Description The Inventory Controller (Jewellery) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring optimal inventory levels across jewellery retail locations and the warehouse. This role involves monitoring daily stock movements, performing regular cycle counts and reconciliations, and investigating discrepancies to maintain data integrity.The Inventory Controller will coordinate with store teams, warehouse staff, and finance to oversee goods receiving, transfers, returns, and adjustments in the inventory management system.The role also includes preparing inventory reports, analyzing stock trends, and supporting replenishment decisions to minimize stock-outs and overstock situations. In addition, the Inventory Controller will help implement and uphold inventory control procedures and support periodic audits to ensure compliance with company standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong stock control and stock management skills, with experience in handling jewellery or other high-value items.Candidates should possess solid inventory control skills, including stock reconciliation, variance analysis, and use of inventory management systems or ERP tools.Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and support decision-making on stock replenishment and optimization.Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with store teams, warehouse personnel, finance, and senior management.Relevant experience in retail or jewellery inventory management, attention to detail, and strong numerical ability.Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools; familiarity with barcode or RFID systems is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage time effectively, and uphold high standards of integrity and confidentiality.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field preferred.Only immediate joiners will be preferred.
