Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe Chief – Supply Chain and Inventory Management is a strategic position responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Luxury Goods supply chain and multi-store inventory ecosystem across all Client's outlets in Odisha. The role is pivotal to ensuring that the right merchandise — in the right quantities, forms, and metal/stone compositions — is available at the right store, at the right time, while protecting the organisation's significant capital locked in bullion, studded jewellery, and finished goods inventory.As a member of the executive leadership team, this role connects the Chief Merchandising Officer's product and assortment strategy with the Chief Sales Officer's store-level performance needs. It turns both into practical inventory and procurement frameworks. The incumbent reports directly to the CEO and is accountable for the financial efficiency, accuracy, and security of inventory assets across all 13+ stores, including upcoming store openings within Odisha.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEssentialGraduate or Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain and inventory management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Demonstrable experience in the luxury retail, or precious metals industry is strongly preferred.Proven track record of managing multi-location inventory across a retail chain.Deep understanding of gold bullion management, metal on lease, and jewellery procurement cycles.Hands-on experience with jewellery ERP/POS platforms and inventory technology solutions.Strong commercial acumen with experience in vendor negotiations and supply contracts.DesirableFamiliarity with BIS hallmarking, HUID regulations, and GST implications on jewellery inventory.Experience in RFID-based inventory management in retail environments.Exposure to regional jewellery markets in Odisha, West Bengal, or eastern India.Professional certifications in Supply Chain (CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent) are an advantage.
