Inventory Manager (Group Retail)Group Head Office — Lekki, LagosAbout the RoleOur retail entity is a premier luxury home textile and lifestyle brand operating 8 retail stores across Nigeria, supported by robust e-commerce and wholesale channels. To support our expanding retail footprint and complex product SKU catalog, we are seeking a highly experienced, analytical Inventory Manager.Reporting to executive leadership at the Group level, you will take full ownership of retail inventory control, store replenishment, stock accuracy, and ERP data integrity. Your core mission will be to eliminate stock variances, prevent shrinkage, optimize reorder cycles, and ensure seamless stock availability across all 8 nationwide retail locations.Key ResponsibilitiesStore Replenishment & Supply Chain Logistics:Manage nationwide stock allocation and timely replenishment for all 8 retail stores to prevent stockouts and overstocking.Plan, coordinate, and execute inter-store transfers (ISTs) and central warehouse-to-store logistics.Establish optimal safety stock levels, reorder points, and lead-time schedules for all core and seasonal product lines.Inventory Accuracy & Variance Elimination:Implement rigorous cycle counting routines, spot checks, and scheduled nationwide physical stock audits.Conduct root-cause investigations into inventory discrepancies, stock damage, and shrinkage, enforcing preventative internal controls.Maintain near-100% inventory accuracy between physical stock and ERP system records across all store locations.Odoo ERP System Mastery & Data Integrity:Serve as the functional administrator and subject matter expert for the Odoo ERP inventory module.Oversee multi-location warehouse setup, SKU creation, barcode tagging, stock adjustments, and serial/lot tracking within Odoo.Audit POS system integrations across all 8 stores to ensure real-time stock synchronisation.Analytics, Reporting & Cost Control:Generate weekly and monthly inventory valuation, turnover rate, slow-moving/obsolete stock, and variance reports for executive leadership.Analyze sales velocity trends per store to align inventory investments with location-specific demand.Collaborate with procurement and finance on stock reconciliation, COGS tracking, and supplier lead times.Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.Experience: 6–10 years of progressive inventory management experience within a multi-store retail, FMCG, or luxury retail environment.Key Technical & Operational Skills:Odoo ERP Mastery: Proven, hands-on experience managing complex multi-warehouse inventory systems specifically on Odoo ERP is mandatory.Multi-Store Management: Direct experience overseeing stock logistics and distribution for at least 5+ retail outlets simultaneously across Nigeria.SKU Complexity: Proven track record managing broad, high-variety SKU catalogs with strict barcode/tagging disciplines.Analytical Rigor: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivots, XLOOKUP, data modeling) for stock analytics and variance reconciliation.Work Location & TermsLocation: Lekki, Lagos State (Head Office, and retail stores visits )Job Type: Full-timeHow to ApplyInterested candidates with extensive multi-store retail experience and proven Odoo ERP expertise should send their CV and a cover letter detailing their inventory achievements to ES@opesvenit.com with the subject line "Application: Retail Inventory Manager - Odoo Expert".We are an equal opportunity employer.
