Inventory Sales Planner - Walmart

We are looking for a Inventory /Sales Operations Analyst to join our Walmart team. The Planner is responsible for managing the inventory levels to support business objectives, optimize supply chain efficiency, and ensure product availability. This role analyzes demand forecasts, monitors stock levels, and collaborates with internal teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. This role is based out of our NY office working in the office 3 days a week and 2 days remotely.Key functions:Prepare and update regular reports, recaps, and ladders on sales performance and inventory levels.Review and manage customer orders in a timely manner.Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels.Partner with internal and external teams to ensure forecasts are aligned with sales trends and goals.Prepare meeting materials.Support special and/or ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.Keys to Success:Ability to take initiative, think critically, and prioritize.Flexibility to pivot and reshuffle priorities as needed.Insight to know when guidance is needed and ask for it.Strong collaboration skills yet able to work independently.Advanced excel skills.Clear communication skills.You will be highly rated if you:Have 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, planning, sales operations, replenishment or related role.Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Have advanced Excel skills.Have a thirst to learn and a can-do attitude.Have experience with WM platforms.Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Can work effectively and efficiently both collaboratively and independently.
