At Terracotta – Driving Business Growth in Recruitment, Outsourcing & Corporate ServicesWe are a leading outsourcing and recruitment company in the UAEN, delivering recruitment, manpower, visa outsourcing, EOR/PEO, business setup, PRO services, and corporate solutions across the region.We are currently hiring two UAEN professionals for the position of Lead – Commercial & Project Finance (Investment & Capital Structure) to join one of our key clients, a leading government-sector organization operating within the Energy & Infrastructure industry in Abu Dhabi.Position: Lead – Commercial & Project Finance (Investment & Capital Structure)Industry: Energy & InfrastructureLocation: Abu Dhabi, OnsiteKey ResponsibilitiesInvestment Analysis & Commercial EvaluationSupport the financial and commercial evaluation of new investments and existing asset opportunitiesAssess investment business cases, including project economics, value creation potential, key risks, and strategic considerationsReview financial models and key assumptions relating to revenues, costs, financing structures, and investment returnsSupport scenario, sensitivity, and risk analysis to facilitate investment decision-makingTransaction Execution & Due DiligenceSupport transaction execution across greenfield developments, refinancing, asset extensions, acquisitions, divestments, and other investment opportunitiesParticipate in financial and commercial due diligence processesCoordinate transaction activities across internal teams, external advisors, lenders, investors, and other counterpartiesReview commercial and financial documentation and ensure alignment with approved investment casesProject Finance & Capital StructuringSupport the assessment and optimization of project financing and capital structuresEvaluate debt and equity funding options, refinancing opportunities, financing profiles, and cost of capitalSupport financing processes and engagement with banks, lenders, advisors, and investorsReview the financial implications of different funding and transaction structuresStakeholder ManagementWork closely with internal Commercial, Finance, Legal, Technical, and Asset Management teamsEngage with external stakeholders including lenders, advisors, investors, consultants, and project counterpartiesSupport cross-functional teams in evaluating financial and non-financial project considerationsCommunicate financial and commercial analysis clearly to senior stakeholdersQualifications & ExperienceUAEN – mandatoryBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related disciplineMinimum 4 years of relevant professional experienceExperience or strong exposure to investment analysis, project finance, corporate finance, transaction execution, M&A, infrastructure investment, or commercial financePrevious exposure to energy, infrastructure, large-scale projects, investment entities, financial institutions, or other asset-intensive environments is highly desirableUnderstanding of IRR, NPV, DCF, valuation, sensitivities, and investment returns is preferredCFA qualification or progress toward the CFA, including CFA Level I, MBA, CPA, CMA, or similar qualifications would be advantageous
