About the Role

We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our investment team with a focus on venture capital and growth-stage private investments. This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of investment opportunities and gain exposure to innovative companies, emerging technologies, and leading venture and growth managers.The role is well suited for someone who is highly intellectually curious, entrepreneurial, and energized by a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have strong analytical capabilities and an interest in private markets, but equally important is a “can-do” attitude, willingness to learn and adapt, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team.This is a role where priorities can shift quickly and where analysts are expected to take ownership, figure things out, and contribute wherever needed.ResponsibilitiesConduct due diligence and investment analysis on venture capital and growth equity funds and managersEvaluate investment opportunities across a range of sectors, stages, and strategiesResearch companies, industries, technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapesAnalyze fund performance, portfolio construction, track records, and underlying investmentsPrepare investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal investment discussionsParticipate in calls and meetings with fund managers, entrepreneurs, and other investment professionalsSupport ongoing monitoring and evaluation of existing fund and portfolio investmentsTrack developments across the venture and growth ecosystem and develop perspectives on emerging trendsAssist with portfolio analytics, reporting, and other ad hoc investment projectsCollaborate closely with senior members of the investment team and contribute to broader team priorities as neededQualifications1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, consulting, or a similar analytical roleStrong interest in venture capital, growth investing, technology, and private marketsExcellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate an investment viewStrong research skills and intellectual curiosityAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high-paced, dynamic environmentDetail-oriented and accountable, taking ownership of work from start to finishStrong proficiency in Excel and PowerPointBachelor’s degree with strong academic performancePay InformationThis position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of New York. The pay range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
