Investment Analyst

Title: Investment Analyst [On-Site - Parsippany, NJ]Job DescriptionAs an integral part of OnePoint BFG Wealth Partners, the Investment Analyst works closely with the Wealth Advisor and Team Lead in providing support across all client and prospect relationships. The Analyst is primarily responsible for building financial plans, preparing client and prospect deliverables, and trading client accounts.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Build and maintain comprehensive financial plans, including retirement projections, education savings analysis, and cash flow modeling.Create and prepare client and prospect deliverables, including proposals, portfolio reviews, and presentation materials, prior to meetings.Trade client accounts, including stocks, ETFs, mutual funds and fixed income, and execute portfolio rebalancing.Participate in the portfolio review/monitoring process, supporting cash flow and tax considerations associated with client portfolios.Any other duties as requested by the Wealth Advisor or Team Lead.Requirements7+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or an investment-related field; scope of role and seniority scale with experience.Candidates with approximately 10+ years of relevant experience and prior people-management or supervisory experience may be considered for the Team Lead track, which includes oversight of Analyst staffing and workflow.Ability to collaborate closely and effectively with Wealth Advisors.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.Strong mindfulness and attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-performance environment.Advanced skills in Excel, with knowledge of one or more of the following: Morningstar, Bloomberg, ycharts, and/or eMoney.Experience with RedBlack is considered a strong asset and will enhance a candidate's overall profile.Bachelor's degree in math, finance, accounting, or business preferred.Licenses/CertificationsCandidates holding a Series 7, Series 65, CFA, CFP, or ChFC designations preferred.Right to Revise:This job description is not meant to be all-inclusive, and the Company reserves the right to revise this job description as necessary without advance notice.The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee.
