This role is based in Singapore.Responsibilities:Active ecosystem outreach, sourcing high-quality deals, and managing the deal pipelineManage communications with startups and internal teamIdentify, source, and enable screening of startupsPerform in-depth analysis on market, industry, competitor, business model, and financial metricsConduct commercial and financial due diligence on startupsConstruct financial model and perform returns analysisStructure terms of the investment deals and negotiate with foundersDraft investment committee papers to present investment opportunities to partners and teamMonitor performance of portfolio companies and provide regular reports to partners and teamConduct regular market research in selected industry/sectorBe involved in other contributions to company events/activitiesRequirements:Minimum bachelor’s degree in business/finance/economics from a top tier schoolAt least 2 years of direct venture investment experience or the like, including ex-founder, top tier consulting firms, and investment bankingStrong interest and passion into technology and entrepreneurshipStrong intellectual curiosity and fast learnerAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with foundersFamiliarity with the latest technology trends and Southeast Asian startup ecosystemStrong analytical, financial analysis, writing, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and within a team contextAttention to detail, thorough and organizedAbility to identify key drivers of business models and clarify ambiguityAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and able to cope with pressure that comes with the start-up cultureOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
