Investment Analyst x 2Private EquitySydney and MelbourneAn exciting opportunity is available for an Investment Analyst to join a high-growth private investment team focused on providing long-term, patient capital to Australian SMEs. The role offers broad exposure across the investment lifecycle, including sourcing and screening new opportunities, researching target companies and markets, building financial models, supporting commercial and quantitative due diligence, preparing investment committee materials and assisting with portfolio company reporting and monitoring.The ideal candidate will have under 2.5 years' experience and be happy to sit in an analyst role. We are open to candidates with experience in investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting or similar, with strong financial modelling and analytical skills and a developing understanding of transactions and the investment lifecycle. You will be commercially curious, analytical and resourceful, with excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.Personality and cultural fit are equally important. The team is looking for someone energetic, collaborative and genuinely interested in investing, with high levels of integrity, resilience and work ethic, and a willingness to learn, seek feedback and take on responsibility.This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career investment professional to fast track their career to the buy side and gain meaningful exposure across sourcing, investing, due diligence and portfolio management whilst working alongside a collaborative and supportive team.
