Investment Analyst

Position Overview: The Investment Analyst will support activities of three entities compromising of a single-family office and two affiliated non-profit entities:The Spring Bay Companies: a single-family office with a diverse investment portfolio spanning fund managers, direct investments, and operating businesses.The Sontag Foundation: a private foundation dedicated to advancing brain cancer research. The Foundation maintains an endowment-style investment portfolio utilizing a modern asset allocation framework, as well as an innovation fund focused on mission-related venture capital investments. The Brain Tumor Network: a public non-profit providing brain tumor patient navigation and support.The Investment Analyst will assist with investment due diligence, monitoring, reporting, and research across multiple portfolios. The Analyst will serve as an investment generalist and work closely with senior professionals, gaining exposure to a broad range of investment strategies and asset classes, including public equity, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, credit, and real assets.

Key Responsibilities

Provide analytical support across multiple investment portfolios, asset classes, and strategies Assist with due diligence and ongoing monitoring of fund managers and direct investmentsPrepare quantitative and qualitative investment analyses, models, and investment reports Support monthly and quarterly portfolio reporting, including data collection and reconciliationConduct market, industry, and investment research on a variety of themes Maintain internal investment and research databases, models, and internal systems Conduct financial analysis of potential brain cancer-related venture capital deals Attend investor conferences and annual meetings related to Organizational holdingsPerform ad hoc investment analyses and projects Key Requirements:Undergraduate degree and minimum 1-3+ years of relevant experience Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and assignment deadlines Intellectual curiosity, an investment mindset, and comfort working independently in a small-team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint (familiarity with AI productivity tools is a plus)Interest in pursuing the CFA designation is a plus

Location: this is a full-time, on-site position located in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (greater Jacksonville area).
