Our Investments function is central to the group's long-term financial sustainability, and we're looking for an Investment Analyst to help shape what comes next.The opportunity Reporting to our Chief Investment Officer, you'll help build, manage and monitor a diversified multi-asset portfolio. Your analysis will be critical to the Investment Strategy and won't disappear into a pipeline. It shapes recommendations that go to the MD and Directors.What you'll doPartner with the CIO to develop and implement a long-term investment strategy aligned to group goals, liquidity needs and risk appetiteDeliver in-depth investment analysis, including valuation, performance attribution, scenario modelling and market researchIdentify and evaluate new opportunities, external managers and financial productsMonitor portfolio performance and investment risk across market, credit, liquidity and operational exposures, including stress testing and sensitivity analysisWork with Finance to produce high-quality reporting for the MD and DirectorsBuild strong relationships with fund managers, wealth advisers and other family offices, and with internal teams across finance, property and operationsSupport negotiations with investment managers, brokers and financial institutionsHelp bring AI tools into due diligence and everyday productivityWhat you'll bring5+ years' experience in investment management, portfolio construction and financial analysis, ideally with a fund manager or wealth adviserDeep credit and equities investment expertiseAdvanced financial modelling and Excel skillsStrong understanding of financial markets, asset classes and investment products, including structured productsDemonstrated investment risk management capability, including stress testing and scenario analysisSharp analytical and problem-solving skills, and the judgement to balance risk with opportunityClear, executive-level written and verbal communicationExperience supporting negotiations and managing external investment relationshipsHigh integrity and discretion, with a clear understanding of confidentiality, conflict of interest and personal trading obligationsHighly regardedPostgraduate qualifications in finance, economics or businessCFA, CA or CPA accreditationExperience in a family office or private investment environmentExperience using AI or data tools for investment research and due diligenceWhy ZagameWork directly with the CIO and alongside senior decision-makers in a family-owned businessExposure across a genuinely diverse range of asset classesOngoing professional development opportunitiesAttractive Remuneration package with annual performance and salary reviewsReward and Recognition programsModern corporate office in the heart of Hawthorn, close to public transportReady to apply?
