Investment Analyst, Japanese Equities

Job Purpose:The Analyst will provide investment research and administrative support to the Japan Equites team.

Job Responsibilities

Cover multiple sectors for the Japanmarket.Perform stock and sector analysis, make recommendations for the Japan equities portfolios.Develop a thorough understanding of company’s business.Build and maintain financial and valuation models for companies covered, with varying degrees of granularity.Value the company’s securities based on a sound and thorough understanding of its business, competitive position and growth prospects.Monitor the company’s progress, stock performance and update relevant parties of key developments.Pre-requisites: Relevant degree, preferably with 2-5 years of experience in advisory, research or investment management role within banking, brokerage, asset management or fund house working environment.Exposure to the Japan market as part of a specialist, international orglobal teamExperience covering Japan or global tech sectors is highly desirable,but not essentialSolid financial analysis, modeling skills and understanding of differentvaluation techniquesStrong ability to construct and articulate concise investment theses and pitch recommendations with conviction to senior investors.Self-starter, independent thinker and a resilient individualAbility to work collaboratively in a team-based environmentOther Information:Lion Global Investors Limited is committed to equal employment opportunity.
