Investment Analyst / Manager

We are seeking an Investment Analyst / Manager to join our Investment team in Hong Kong, with a primary focus on the Japan investment market. The successful candidate will support and, depending on experience, lead the evaluation and execution of private equity real estate investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct due diligence on real estate investment opportunities, including valuation, financial modelling, market analysis and benchmarking. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and analyse cash flows, capital structures, investment returns and acquisition or disposition strategies. Conduct research on market conditions and investment opportunities to support underwriting assumptions and investment recommendations. Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials to support investment decisions, strategy and return analysis. Coordinate with internal teams and external advisers to drive due diligence, transaction structuring and deal execution. Participate in on-site due diligence and assess asset-level opportunities and risks. Interface and negotiate with counterparties, operating partners, management teams, brokers, banks and professional advisers. Build and maintain relationships with key participants in the real estate investment market.

Requirements

Degree holder in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines with 3-7 years’ relevant experience in investment banking or private equity fund.Open minded and adaptable to changes with good understanding of real estate market.Strong financial modelling, valuation, research and analytical skills. Good command of written and spoken EnglishResponsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.
