Responsibilities
Conduct detailed fundamental research on public companies, with an emphasis on small- and mid-cap equities.Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and industry frameworks.Generate investment ideas through company research, industry analysis, channel checks, and primary diligence.Monitor portfolio holdings and track company developments, earnings results, and industry trends.Prepare investment memoranda and present research findings to senior members of the investment team.Support the firm's ongoing research efforts across consumer and related sectors.
Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, equity research, or a related investing role.Strong preference for candidates with consumer sector experience.Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skillset.Outstanding academic credentials, ideally from a highly regarded university.Strong quantitative aptitude combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated passion for investing and public markets.Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.Ideal Background:Successful candidates will typically have a foundation in investment banking followed by experience in private equity, public investing, or another fundamental research-intensive role.
