Investment Analyst - Private Equity

An established private equity investor is looking to hire an Investment Analyst to join its growing team in Amsterdam.The firm invests in mid-sized companies and works closely with management teams to support strategic transformation, operational improvement, and long-term value creation. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, portfolio management, and exit processes.ResponsibilitiesSupport the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunitiesBuild and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment casesConduct market research, industry analysis, and commercial due diligenceAssist with transaction processes, including management meetings, advisors, and third-party diligence providersPrepare investment committee materials and internal presentationsMonitor portfolio company performance and support value-creation initiativesParticipate in strategic projects alongside management teams and senior investment professionalsCandidate Profile1-4 years of relevant experience within: Investment Banking; Transaction Services / Deal Advisory; Strategy Consulting; Private Equity or Growth EquityStrong financial modelling and valuation skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong academic track recordFluent English required; additional European languages are advantageousEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a lean, hands-on team environment
