Investment Analyst / Senior Associate

We are partnering exclusively with an established, institutionally backed hedge fund in the DIFC on a key hire for its growing Dubai investment team.The firm manages a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across global markets and is known for a collaborative, research-driven culture and a strong track record. The client's identity will be disclosed only after an initial conversation and with your consent.THE ROLE- Title: Investment Analyst / Senior Associate- Location: DIFC, Dubai (on-site, with some regional and international travel)- Reports to: Portfolio Manager / Head of Research- Experience: 4-7 years- Employer: DFSA-regulated hedge fund- Start date: FlexibleKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Source, research and develop investment ideas, from screening through to a fully articulated thesis- Build and maintain financial models, valuations and scenario analyses- Monitor existing positions, identifying catalysts, risks and changes to the investment case- Prepare high-conviction pitches and updates for the PM and Investment Committee- Run management meetings, expert calls and channel checks to build differentiated views- Track macro, sector and regulatory developments and assess portfolio implications- Work closely with trading, risk and operations teams- Mentor junior analystsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR- 4-7 years in a buy-side or sell-side role (hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, private equity or equivalent)- Demonstrable track record of generating and presenting investment ideas- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills- Strong academic background; CFA or equivalent a plus- Sound judgement and the ability to defend a view under challenge- Excellent written and verbal English- Desirable: GCC/EMEA market experience, exposure to long/short equity, credit, macro or multi-strategy, Bloomberg/FactSet, Python or SQL, ArabicWHAT THE FIRM OFFERS- Competitive base salary and a performance-linked bonus structure- Private health insurance and other benefits- A clear development path within a growing DIFC investment management firmAll enquiries are handled in strict confidence.
