Investment Analyst (Tier 1, international VC)

My client is a top-tier international VC with an outstanding track record backing some of the most transformative companies across APAC. Building on that track record, they are expanding their investment team in Singapore.They are hiring an Analyst to join the Investment team, with a strong focus on frontier and deep tech (AI, robotics, semiconductors, and adjacent sectors). In this role, you will play a critical part in sourcing, evaluating, and building conviction on investment opportunities across Southeast Asia.What You'll DoSource, evaluate, and support execution of investments across technology sectors, with meaningful exposure to frontier and deep tech (AI, robotics, semiconductors, and related sectors)Conduct market research, financial and technical analysis, and due diligence to build conviction on opportunitiesContribute to investment theses and perspectives on emerging technology trendsBuild and maintain a strong network across the tech, startup, and technical founder ecosystem to support deal flowWork closely with senior investors, developing a rigorous, fundamentals-driven approach to evaluating companies and marketsWhat We're Looking For18 months to 3 years of professional experience in a top-tier environment - bulge-bracket or elite boutique investment banking (TMT/technology coverage preferred), or venture capital with a technology/deep tech focusA strong undergraduate academic record from a leading university; this role is best suited to candidates at the analyst level of their career (does not require a postgraduate degree)Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to form independent, well-reasoned views on companies and marketsGenuine, demonstrated interest in technology investing - frontier and deep tech sectors (AI, robotics, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, space tech) are a strong plusHigh energy and a bias for speed and ownership - comfortable moving quickly and driving your own workstreamsThis is an opportunity to join one of the world's most respected venture firms early in your career, working alongside senior investors & backing some of the most exciting technology opportunities in the region.
