On behalf of our client, we are conducting a confidential search for rapidly growing early-stage venture capital firm based in Dubai for an Investment Analyst.The role offers direct exposure to the Founding Partners, live investment decisions, portfolio companies and the full investment process from initial review through to closing.Key responsibilitiesConduct detailed commercial and financial due diligence on investment opportunities.Lead customer, reference and expert calls with founders, customers, industry specialists and other stakeholders.Build financial models from a blank sheet, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.Analyse cap tables, dilution, future financing rounds and potential investor returns.Conduct market mapping, competitor research, market sizing and investment thesis development.Prepare clear and well-structured investment memoranda for partner review.Present investment analysis and recommendations directly to the Founding Partners at preliminary and final investment committees.Screen inbound opportunities against the firm’s investment criteria and prepare relevant opportunities for further consideration.Develop and improve AI-supported workflows for research, diligence and investment analysis.Support transactions through to completion, working closely with legal counsel on documentation and closing checklists.Monitor portfolio companies, collect key performance indicators from founders and identify emerging risks or issues.Support quarterly reporting updates for the firm’s limited partners.Manage several live investment processes simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of analytical and written work.The ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 2 years’ experience in reputable international investment bank or private equity/ VC firm as Analyst.Experience in venture capital, growth equity, technology investment or software-related transactions would be advantageous.Strong financial-modelling skills, including the ability to build models from a blank sheet and explain the key assumptions and outputs.Experience analyzing technology, fintech, enterprise software, AI or related sectors.Excellent written communication skills and the ability to produce concise, decision-useful investment materials.Confidence presenting analysis, forming a view and defending an investment recommendation.Demonstrable proficiency using AI tools for research, diligence and workflow development.A Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science or a related discipline from a leading university.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions at different stages.Working arrangement: Five days per week in the office.Working hours: Standard office presence, with occasional evening calls from home to accommodate US-based companies, customers and references.Compensation: Competitive and benchmarked against Dubai investment banking and private equity.Additional opportunity: Participation in the funds is available at this level.
