Investment Associate - Fund SelectionWe're working with an established private markets investment firm that backs top-performing fund managers on behalf of its clients.You'll be involved across the full investment process, from sourcing and researching funds, through due diligence and IC, to monitoring managers once invested. The focus is on identifying and backing the strongest managers across a broad range of strategies. You'll also work closely with teams across the wider business.Key responsibilitiesIdentifying and reviewing high-performing fund opportunitiesAssessing each manager, their strategy and the associated risksAnalysing returns, cash flows and value creation, and benchmarking managers against their peersMonitoring how existing investments and managers are performing, and flagging changes in strategy, team or riskKeeping across market activity, from fundraising and deployment to valuations and exitsSupporting the launch of new investment opportunitiesYour backgroundIdeally up to two years in private markets, investment management, transaction services or a related fieldExperience across private equity, private credit or infrastructure is an advantage, though not essentialA strong academic record and sharp analytical instinctsA genuine curiosity for private markets, with sound investment judgementFluent French is required, with another European language an advantageOur client is well established with ambitious plans for growth.Please get in touch if you'd like to discuss.
