Apply & track with Apply EdgeA confidential investment firm based in Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an Investment Associate to join its Investment team.The role will support the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities across the MENA region and is particularly suited to candidates with a strong foundation in Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Transaction Services, or Valuations within a leading Big Four firm.The successful candidate will bring strong financial analysis and transaction capabilities, regional deal exposure, and the ability to assess investment opportunities from both a financial and commercial perspective.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the evaluation, analysis, and execution of potential investment opportunities.Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation, and financial modelling to support investment decisions.Perform financial and commercial assessment of potential targets, including review of historical performance, quality of earnings, working capital, cash flows, and key financial drivers.Support financial due diligence and coordinate with external advisors throughout transaction processes.Prepare investment materials, presentations, financial analyses, and recommendations for senior management and investment decision-makers.Conduct industry, company, competitor, and market research to support investment theses.Assist in the preparation and review of investment cases, valuation analyses, and transaction documentation.Support transaction execution from initial assessment through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and closing.Work with internal and external stakeholders, including management teams, advisors, consultants, and financial institutions.Support the monitoring and analysis of existing portfolio investments where required.Candidate Profile5–6 years of relevant professional experience.Current or previous experience at a Big Four firm.Strong background in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Services, or Valuations.Demonstrable transaction experience within the MENA region.Strong financial modelling, accounting, valuation, and analytical capabilities.Good understanding of financial statements and the ability to identify key transaction and investment considerations.Native or fluent Arabic speaker, with strong English communication skills.Candidates should be based in the region or have substantial professional experience within the MENA market.Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.Education & Professional QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred.A Master's degree in Accounting would be an advantage.CPA and/or CFA qualification is a strong plus.
