Investment Banking Analyst | M&A | LondonWhy Apply for This Role?Join a growing international Investment Banking teamGain exposure to high-quality domestic and cross-border M&A transactionsWork across live buy-side and sell-side mandatesDevelop financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution skillsStrong progression opportunities towards AssociateThe RoleThe successful candidate will join an established Investment Banking team, supporting the execution of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions across a range of sectors.This opportunity is suited to an ambitious Analyst with at least one year of Investment Banking experience, looking to gain greater responsibility across live transactions and develop their technical and commercial skills.About the RoleSupport domestic and cross-border buy-side and sell-side M&A transactionsBuild and maintain financial models and valuation analysisUndertake DCF, trading comparables and precedent transaction analysisPrepare pitch books, information memoranda and transaction materialsConduct company, sector and market researchSupport financial and commercial due diligence processesCoordinate transaction workstreams and liaise with external advisersAssist with management presentations and investor materialsSupport transaction execution from initial preparation through to completionContribute to pitches and wider business development activityYour ExperienceMinimum one year of Investment Banking experience is essentialPrevious hands-on M&A transaction experience requiredExposure to buy-side and/or sell-side M&A processesStrong financial modelling and valuation skillsUnderstanding of DCF, trading comparables and precedent transactionsExperience preparing pitch books and transaction materialsExcellent Excel and PowerPoint capabilityStrong analytical skills and attention to detailCommercial understanding of M&A transactionsCross-border M&A experience advantageous
