Through its brand Pune Angels Network (PAN), AAVA works with startups, SMBs, angel investors, funds, and ecosystem partners to deliver fundraising, M&A, debt syndication, and strategic advisory outcomes.Role OverviewThe Investment Banking Intern / Associate will be part of the core deal execution team, supporting fundraising, M&A, structured finance, and transaction advisory mandates across startups and SMBs.Key Responsibilities· Support end-to-end execution of fundraising, M&A, and debt syndication mandates· Assist in preparation of pitch decks, information memorandums, and investor materials· Build and review financial models, projections, and valuation analysis· Conduct industry, market, and comparable company research· Support due diligence, data room preparation, and transaction documentation· Coordinate investor interactions, follow-ups, and feedback collation· Maintain deal trackers, MIS dashboards, and reporting disciplineDesired Skills & Qualifications· MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (Pursuing or Qualified) / Engineering with finance interest· Strong fundamentals in accounting, finance, and valuation· Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis· Strong analytical, research, and communication skills· High ownership mindset and comfort with fast-paced environmentsWhat You Will Gain· Hands-on exposure to live startup and SMB transactions· Direct interaction with founders, angel investors, and funds· Strong learning curve in investment banking and venture advisory· Opportunity for conversion to a full-time role based on performance· Long-term growth path within a growing investment platform
