Investment Banking - Senior Associate / VP - Aerospace, Defense & Government (AD&G)

The OpportunityI’m currently working with a leading Investment Bank that is looking to add a Vice President to its growing Aerospace, Defense & Government (AD&G) Investment Banking platform.This role can be based in either NY or Washington DC (Other locations will be considered also)This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing AD&G banker looking to join a strong, established franchise with significant transaction activity and continued ambitions to grow its presence across the sector.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and clients across a broad range of M&A and strategic advisory transactions, with significant exposure to senior decision-makers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute M&A and strategic advisory transactions across the Aerospace, Defense & Government sector.Take significant responsibility for transaction execution, including financial modelling, valuation, analysis, due diligence and preparation of client materials.Work closely with Managing Directors and senior coverage bankers on origination and execution.Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate, sponsor and government-related clients.Help identify new business opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the AD&G franchise.Mentor and develop junior members of the team.Present analysis and transaction recommendations to senior client stakeholders.Ideal CandidateThe team is particularly interested in speaking with Senior Associate / VP-level AD&G Investment Bankers who have:5+ years of Investment Banking experience, ideally with meaningful AD&G exposure.Strong M&A execution experience.Experience covering Aerospace, Defense, Government Services or adjacent Industrials sectors.Excellent financial modelling and valuation capabilities.A proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and take ownership of transactions.Strong communication and client-facing skills.A genuine interest in building a long-term career within the AD&G sector.Why Consider It?🚀 Leading AD&G franchise with a strong market reputation✈️ Significant exposure to Aerospace & Defense M&A💼 Opportunity to work directly alongside senior bankers and clients📈 Strong platform with continued growth ambitions
