It is combining its portfolio, operated from Dubai and the UK.The role:One seat working across three arenas. The weighting will move with the deal calendar, but in a typical year the media vehicle and family deal flow are the daily work, with the Platform as the recurring layer on top.
Responsibilities
Screening deal flow across all three arenas and quickly identifying what doesn't align.Building financial models and valuations from scratch, including for businesses with lumpy or informal financials.Running diligence end to end: question lists, data rooms, adviser coordination, reference calls, and reading the accounts yourself.Structuring and negotiating alongside the principals: term sheets, shareholder protections, earn-outs, commercial mandates.Decision-ready investment notes for the principals and, where relevant, the Platform's Investment Committee.Managing completion and the first hundred days with founders.Portfolio work across the group: performance packs, board materials, refinancing analysis, chasing information until it arrives.Spending time inside a portfolio company when a problem needs someone on site to find out where it sits.Background:A senior investment professional with a strong grounding in private equity, family office or principal investing, and direct experience of minority positions in founder-led businesses as well as control transactions.Someone who still does the work: builds the model, reads the contract, sits with the founder.Cross-asset curiosity. Media is the most active arena, but the seat will touch property and consumer businesses in the same month.Judgement over volume: a clear, early view on what is worth the principals' time.Discretion. This is a family office; much of what crosses the desk is personal to the principals.
