About the CompanyOur client is expanding its investment team and is seeking one Investment Director and two Investment Managers to originate, develop, structure and execute major transport infrastructure PPP and concession opportunities across the UAE and wider region.About the RoleThese are developer-side investment roles with direct responsibility across the full project lifecycle: opportunity origination, consortium formation, bid development, commercial and financial structuring, fundraising and lender engagement, negotiations, approvals and financial close. The appointments are not pure banking, advisory, project-delivery or asset-management positions.ResponsibilitiesInvestment Director - MandateLead the origination, screening and development of greenfield and brownfield transport infrastructure investments.Own transactions from early opportunity assessment and bid strategy through commercial negotiations, financing and financial close.Lead project finance structuring, funding strategy, lender engagement, equity discussions and negotiations with public-sector counterparties.Direct financial, commercial, legal, technical, tax and insurance workstreams, ensuring robust risk allocation and investable transaction structures.Lead consortium formation and manage relationships with government authorities, co-investors, lenders, contractors, operators and advisors.Prepare and defend investment recommendations before senior leadership and Investment Committee.Provide leadership and transaction guidance to Investment Managers and Analysts while helping build the regional opportunity pipeline.Investment Managers - MandateManage defined commercial and financial workstreams across live PPP bids and infrastructure transactions.Build and review financial models, business cases, valuation and returns analysis, sensitivities and downside scenarios.Coordinate due diligence, advisors, bid deliverables, risk registers and transaction documentation against demanding timetables.Support negotiations with authorities, lenders, consortium partners, contractors and operators.Review concession, project, shareholder and financing agreements from a commercial and investment perspective.Prepare Investment Committee papers, management presentations and clear recommendations on risk, value and bankability.Support opportunity origination, market assessment and relationship development across the UAE and wider region.QualificationsGenuine developer, concessionaire or sponsor-side experience in infrastructure investment and project finance; candidates must have held direct responsibility for developing and closing projects, not solely advising on them.A demonstrable track record across both greenfield development and brownfield investment, acquisition or concession opportunities.Substantial transportation infrastructure experience, ideally across roads, rail, metro, airports, ports, logistics or integrated mobility. Renewable-energy-only backgrounds will not meet the brief.End-to-end transaction exposure from origination and early-stage development through bid, structuring, fundraising, debt and equity negotiations, commercial close and financial close.Strong command of project finance structures, financial modelling, investment returns, risk allocation, concession frameworks and lender requirements.Meaningful professional experience in the Middle East, preferably the UAE or GCC, with evidence of established regional market understanding and stakeholder exposure.Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and negotiating with governments, sponsors, investors, lenders, contractors, operators and professional advisors.Required SkillsInvestment Director: typically 15+ years of relevant experience, including leadership of multiple PPP or concession transactions through financial close. Must demonstrate transaction ownership, team leadership, senior stakeholder credibility and a strong transport infrastructure track record.Investment Manager: typically 7-12 years of relevant experience, with hands-on responsibility for financial and commercial workstreams on live PPP or concession transactions. Must be capable of independently driving deliverables and supporting negotiations through close.Preferred SkillsCandidates are most likely to come from infrastructure developers, concession companies, PPP sponsors, developer-investor platforms or transport-focused infrastructure investment businesses. Experience within a fund, bank or advisory firm can be relevant only where it is complemented by substantial direct developer-side project leadership and clear responsibility through financial close.Pay range and compensation packageA competitive remuneration package and clear scope for continued progression.ApplicationApplications should clearly identify relevant transport infrastructure transactions and specify the asset type, greenfield or brownfield classification, year, deal value, project stage reached, financing structure and the candidate's personal role from origination through financial close.
