Solicitor, Investment Funds (UAE) 1-5 years' PQEA leading international law firm is seeking a talented Investment Funds Associate with at least a years' post qualification experience to join its growing Middle East practice. This is an excellent opportunity join a sophisticated global platform and gain exposure to complex cross-border investment matters.The successful candidate will work closely with experienced partners and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions, advising a broad range of clients including fund sponsors, investment managers, institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds and family offices.The role offers the opportunity to work on a spectrum of investment management matters, including fund formation, structuring, fundraising, regulatory issues and ongoing fund operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvising clients on the formation, structuring and operation of private investment funds.Supporting private equity, private credit, hedge fund, hybrid and evergreen fund mandates.Assisting with fundraising processes, investor negotiations and fund documentation.Advising investment managers and funds on regulatory and compliance considerations.Supporting fund restructurings, recapitalisations and liquidity solutions.Working on cross-border matters alongside colleagues across an international network.The ideal candidate will have:1–5 years’ post-qualification experience.Qualification in England & Wales or the United States.Strong investment funds experience gained at a leading international or recognised funds practice.Experience advising either fund sponsors / GPs or investors / LPs.Experience with private equity, private credit, hedge funds or alternative investment structures.Exposure to sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors or family offices would be advantageous.A genuine interest in developing a career within the Middle East market.Opportunity HighlightsJoin a highly regarded international investment funds platform.Work on sophisticated cross-border fund matters.Gain direct exposure to leading alternative investment clients.Develop your career in one of the world’s fastest-growing investment markets.The role will ideally be based in Abu Dhabi, although candidates interested in Dubai may also be considered.
