As an Investment Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to the investment management, supporting the execution and monitoring of investment transactions across equities, mutual funds, and other financial instruments. Working closely with investment professionals, custodians, brokers, and fund managers, you'll learn how investment portfolios are managed and supported in a highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the processing and monitoring of investment transactions, settlements, and cash movements across various investment portfolios.Assist in tracking corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, rights issues, tender offers, and shareholder meetings.Help perform investment data reconciliation across internal systems, custodians, and external parties to ensure data accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with brokers, custodian banks, fund managers, finance, and other stakeholders to support smooth transaction execution.Prepare reports, presentations, and operational documentation to support investment activities and decision-making processes.Monitor market and portfolio-related information and assist in maintaining accurate investment records.Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify workflows and strengthen controls.Participate in team discussions and gain exposure to investment operations, portfolio management support, and fund administration activities.What You'll GainExposure to real-life investment operations within a leading financial services company.Practical understanding of equity settlement, corporate actions, mutual funds, and portfolio administration.Opportunities to work with investment professionals, fund managers, brokers, and custodians.Experience using investment and portfolio management systems.Development of analytical, operational excellence, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.RequirementsFinal-year student or recent graduate in Business Management, Finance, Actuary or related field.Having studied investment as a coursework would be an added value.Strong written communication skills, comfortable preparing presentation materials.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.Able to commit to 6 months full-time internship.
