Apply & track with Apply EdgeA Saudi company is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to lead the evaluation of investment opportunities, conduct financial and commercial analysis, and monitor the performance of its existing investments and portfolios.The role will be responsible for developing financial models, conducting feasibility studies and valuations, supporting due diligence and transaction execution, and presenting investment recommendations to senior management and investment committees.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in investment analysis, financial modelling, valuation, portfolio monitoring, and investment risk assessment, preferably gained within an investment company, investment fund, holding company, asset management firm, or a similar environment.Key Responsibilities• Identify, assess, and analyze potential investment opportunities in line with the company’s investment strategy and objectives.• Conduct financial, commercial, and market analysis to determine the attractiveness and viability of proposed investments.• Develop and review financial models, feasibility studies, business cases, and investment return analyses.• Perform company, asset, and investment valuations using appropriate valuation methodologies.• Prepare investment recommendations supported by clear financial and commercial analysis.• Participate in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and other investment transactions.• Support transaction structuring, negotiations, approvals, and execution in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.• Monitor the financial and operational performance of existing investments and investment portfolios.• Track actual returns against approved business plans, budgets, and investment targets.• Analyze performance variances and recommend appropriate corrective or value-creation actions.• Monitor economic, financial, industry, and market developments and assess their potential impact on existing and prospective investments.• Participate in financial, commercial, operational, and legal due diligence activities.• Collect, review, and analyze information and documentation related to potential investments.• Coordinate with legal, financial, technical, and other external advisers throughout the evaluation and transaction process.• Identify and assess financial, commercial, operational, and market risks associated with investment opportunities.• Recommend appropriate risk-mitigation measures while maintaining targeted investment returns.• Ensure that investment activities comply with approved policies, governance frameworks, and decision-making authorities.• Prepare investment memoranda, executive reports, financial analyses, and presentations for senior management and investment committees.• Present investment findings, recommendations, risks, and expected returns to relevant decision-makers.• Contribute to the development and implementation of long-term investment strategies and portfolio plans.• Maintain accurate and complete records of investment analyses, approvals, decisions, and portfolio performance.• Perform other investment-related responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Investment, or a related field.• A master’s degree in Finance, Investment, or Business Administration is preferred.• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CMA, CPA, or a similar certification are an advantage.• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in investment, asset management, portfolio management, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or financial analysis.• Proven experience in evaluating investment opportunities and preparing investment recommendations.• Advanced experience in financial modelling, feasibility studies, financial analysis, and investment valuation.• Practical experience in due diligence, transaction structuring, and mergers and acquisitions is strongly preferred.• Experience monitoring investment portfolios and analysing financial and operational performance.• Strong understanding of investment risk assessment, governance, and decision-making processes.• Experience within an investment company, investment fund, holding company, asset management firm, family office, or transaction advisory environment is preferred.• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.• Strong analytical, presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.• Ability to prepare and present clear investment cases to senior management and investment committees.• High level of accuracy, commercial judgement, confidentiality, and attention to detail.• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
