The Investment Analyst will support the investment team across both private markets and the firm’s new capital markets strategies, working closely with senior team members and the Investment Committee.Key responsibilitiesScreen and assess investment opportunities in private and listed marketsConduct in-depth financial, fundamental and valuation analysis of companies, sectors and securitiesBuild and maintain financial models (DCF, multiples, LBO, scenario and sensitivity analysis)Monitor portfolio performance, risk and liquidity, including market data and macro developmentsSupport portfolio construction and asset allocation for capital markets fundsPrepare investment memos, Investment Committee materials and investor reportsSupport NAV, valuation and regulatory reporting processesQualificationsDegree and Masters either in Finance, Economics or a related fields.2 to 3 years of experience in asset management, equity or fixed income research, investment banking, private equity or a related fieldSolid knowledge of financial markets and instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and portfolio management principlesStrong financial modelling and valuation skillsAdvanced Excel and experience with Bloomberg or similar platforms is a strong plusProgress towards the CFA designation is valuedAdvanced analytical skills and strong attention to detailExcellent problem-solving, organisational and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in a small, demanding team in an on-site settingFluency in EnglishFamiliarity with the Portuguese market and regulatory framework is a plusWhat we offerExposure to a broad range of asset classes and direct involvement in investment decisionsA collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with close mentorship from senior team membersCompetitive compensation package
