We are building a professional investor experience centred on transparency, communication, risk awareness, and long-term relationships.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly professional and results-driven Investor Relations Officer (IRO) to serve as a key relationship point between SparsVest and its existing and prospective investors.The successful candidate will build investor confidence through clear communication, understand investor needs, support onboarding, provide accurate investment information, and maintain strong long-term relationships while adhering strictly to company policies and applicable financial regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors.Respond professionally to investor enquiries through email, phone, meetings, and approved communication channels.Explain SparsVest's products, investment structures, processes, fees, risks, and terms accurately.Support prospective investors throughout the onboarding and verification process.Conduct investor follow-ups and maintain an organised investor pipeline.Coordinate investor communications, updates, reports, and relevant documentation.Monitor investor feedback and identify opportunities to improve the investor experience.Work closely with Business Development, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams.Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and account activities.Escalate complaints, unusual requests, compliance concerns, and high-risk issues appropriately.Assist with investor meetings, presentations, webinars, and corporate events.Contribute to investor retention and relationship-management strategies.Ensure all investor communications are factual, transparent, and compliant—without making unauthorised promises regarding investment returns or capital protection.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in investor relations, wealth management, financial services, banking, investment sales, customer success, or a related role.Strong understanding of financial markets and investment concepts.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities.Professional presentation and interpersonal skills.Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-technical investors.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive investor information.Strong ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with investment platforms, asset managers, fintechs, brokerage firms, or wealth-management companies.Professional certification in finance, investment, risk, or relationship management.Experience managing high-net-worth or international clients.Knowledge of KYC/AML and investor-protection requirements.Existing professional network within the investment or financial-services sector.
