iOS Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications with a strong focus on performance, reliability, accessibility, and exceptional user experiences. This role will work closely with Product, Design, UX, Data, and backend engineering teams to translate business requirements into high-quality mobile solutions.The ideal candidate is comfortable incorporating AI-powered development tools and agentic workflows into their day-to-day engineering practices to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and reduce repetitive tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, with well-defined modular architecture and separation of concerns.Translate product and design requirements into polished, intuitive mobile experiences in partnership with Product, UX, Design, and backend teams.Develop and maintain reusable SwiftUI components, UI primitives, themes, and design tokens to support a scalable design system.Apply established architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture to create maintainable, testable, and extensible applications.Build local task orchestration and background-processing solutions using Swift Concurrency, async/await, actors, Combine, and background execution frameworks.Develop efficient background location and geofencing capabilities while prioritizing battery consumption, reliability, and user privacy.Implement feature flagging and remote configuration capabilities to support controlled releases, experimentation, and rapid feature rollback.Integrate analytics and behavioral instrumentation into mobile applications while maintaining consistent event taxonomies and data standards.Build accessibility into the application experience, including support for VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, appropriate touch targets, and WCAG-aligned practices.Contribute to automated CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, testing processes, and performance regression monitoring.Monitor and optimize application performance, including rendering, memory usage, CPU utilization, network performance, and overall application responsiveness.Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, third-party SDKs, and cloud-based solutions.Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and other engineering workflows.Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote strong engineering practices, technical standards, and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to broader mobile architecture and engineering strategy.Required Qualifications5+ years of professional iOS development experience.Strong proficiency with Swift, with hands-on experience developing production iOS applications.Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit and a solid understanding of modern iOS development practices.Strong understanding of iOS architecture, modularization, reusable components, and maintainable code design.Experience with frameworks and technologies such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Combine, and Swift Concurrency.Experience integrating REST APIs, backend services, and third-party libraries or SDKs.Strong understanding of mobile application performance, memory management, and battery optimization.Experience with Git-based version control and automated build/deployment workflows.Familiarity with mobile analytics, feature flags, remote configuration, and application performance monitoring.Understanding of mobile accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.Experience working within Agile or other collaborative software development environments.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience using AI-assisted coding tools as part of an engineering workflow.Preferred QualificationsExperience developing sophisticated SwiftUI design systems and reusable component libraries.Experience with advanced iOS capabilities such as Core Location, geofencing, background processing, ARKit, or Core ML.Experience designing or maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or comparable platforms.Familiarity with mobile observability and performance tools.Experience with cloud-based mobile architectures and serverless technologies.Knowledge of mobile application security and secure development practices.Experience establishing analytics event schemas and governance standards.Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical direction.Familiarity with AI coding
