While legacy tools focus on pre-ride planning (TrainingPeaks, Zwift) or post-ride post-mortems (Strava, Intervals.icu), Domesly acts as an active digital Directeur Sportif while the rider is pedaling.By pairing live sensor telemetry (Bluetooth power meters, HR monitors, cadence) with real-time edge AI models and open-ear bone conduction audio hardware, we deliver instantaneous voice directives (pacing, W' balance threshold protection, interval timing) directly to the rider without taking their eyes off the road or blocking ambient traffic noise.The Opportunity: iOS DeveloperWe are seeking a hands-on, high-velocity iOS Developer to build, own, and scale the native iOS mobile experience for Domesly at our Vizag hub.In this role, you will lead the client-side architecture—focusing on native iOS CoreBluetooth integrations, real-time audio pipeline management, low-latency UI updates, and seamless bridging with our high-performance Rust core telemetry engine. Working side-by-side with our systems engineering team, you will help scale our tech stack from a working prototype to global mass commercialization.Key ResponsibilitiesNative iOS App Architecture: Architect, build, and maintain our high-performance iOS application using modern Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit, ensuring fluid performance, minimal battery draw, and sub-150ms UI response times during live rides.Rust Core & FFI Integration: Partner with our Rust team to bridge native C-ABI/UniFFI Rust libraries into the iOS app, enabling real-time telemetry processing, local caching, and offline-first calculations on-device.Bluetooth & Peripheral Management: Implement robust, production-grade CoreBluetooth flows to manage multi-sensor connections simultaneously (power meters, heart rate monitors, cadence sensors, and smart trainers) with aggressive auto-reconnection and zero data loss.Low-Latency Audio & Background Execution: Build background-safe audio processing pipelines (AVFoundation) to stream context-aware voice directives to bone-conduction headsets, ensuring reliable execution even when the screen is locked or competing with background navigation/music apps.Third-Party Ecosystem Integrations: Integrate two-way sync APIs and SDKs for leading sports and training platforms (HealthKit, Strava, Garmin Connect, Wahoo, TrainingPeaks, Intervals.icu, Zwift).Engineering Best Practices (Vizag Hub): Establish best-in-class iOS development standards, automated XCTest/XCUITest suites, memory leak monitoring (Instruments), CI/CD pipelines (TestFlight / App Store Connect), and OTA update handling.What We Are Looking ForExperience: 3+ years of professional native iOS development experience shipping consumer-facing or hardware-connected App Store products.Core Tech Stack ProficiencyDeep expertise in Swift, Combine, and Async/Await concurrency models.Advanced mastery of iOS system frameworks: CoreBluetooth, AVFoundation, CoreLocation, HealthKit, and background processing modes.Demonstrated experience interfacing native Swift code with low-level C libraries or Rust foreign function interfaces (FFI / UniFFI / CXX).Solid understanding of offline storage (CoreData, SwiftData, or SQLite) and REST/GraphQL/WebSocket API consumption.Telemetry & Performance OptimizationHands-on experience optimizing iOS battery life, background thread management, and real-time data streaming under resource constraints.Experience profiling apps using Xcode Instruments (Memory Leaks, Time Profiler, Energy Impact).Domain PassionHigh affinity for sports technology, wearables, or endurance sports (cycling, running, triathlon).Being a cyclist who understands power meters, FTP, normalized power, and training metrics is a big plus!LocationBased in or willing to relocate to Visakhapatnam (Vizag) to work directly with our core R&D team.
