Job SummaryThe Tech Mentor guides learners through their iOS development journey using Challenge-Based Learning, providing technical mentorship, curriculum support, and hands-on feedback to develop strong engineering judgment, technical skills, and confidence as Apple ecosystem developers.Key ResponsibilitiesGuide learners through iOS projects and technical challenges, supporting development, debugging, testing, and problem-solving.Provide technical feedback and code reviews to improve code quality, engineering practices, and technical decision-making.Facilitate technical workshops, coding sessions, and hands-on activities covering Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData, testing, debugging, architecture, and Apple technologies.Develop and support technical curriculum aligned with iOS development competencies and the Academy’s learning objectives.Provide personalized mentoring and use coaching techniques to help learners investigate problems, evaluate solutions, and build independent technical judgment.Participate in technical reviews, project evaluations, demos, and events while continuously improving mentoring approaches and technical learning content.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.2–5 years of hands-on experience building and shipping iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, with strong knowledge of SwiftData, software architecture, testing, debugging, and Git.Familiarity with the Apple developer ecosystem, including Xcode, TestFlight, App Store guidelines, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Agile practices, and emerging Apple technologies.Strong mentoring, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and guide learners toward independent technical decisions.
