IoT Application Engineer

The IoT Application Engineer will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable EazyIoT solutions, and ensuring successful installation, commissioning, and deployment. The role involves working closely with customers, field technicians and internal engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand customer requirements, site conditions, and application needs, and recommend suitable EazyIoT products and solutions.Develop a strong understanding of EazyIoT products, their applications, configurations, and technical capabilities.Support customers and field technicians during installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning.Provide technical guidance to field technicians and electricians during on-site execution.Troubleshoot issues related to power, connectivity, sensors, load control, communication, and device configuration.Provide remote technical support through calls, emails, and monitoring tools.Assist with site visits for installation checks, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support when required.Coordinate with electricians, contractors, project teams, and internal engineering teams for smooth project execution.Prepare and maintain SOPs, installation guides, troubleshooting notes, test records, and commissioning checklists.Identify recurring field issues and share customer/field feedback with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product teams.Take ownership of technical issues and work towards practical, timely solutions.Candidate ProfileBachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.0–2 years of experience in IoT, application engineering, technical support, automation, or electrical/electronics.Good understanding of basic electrical/electronic concepts, sensors, controllers, power supplies, and connectivity.Ability to read basic electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshoot technical issues.Good communication and customer-handling skills.Hands-on, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.Strong willingness to learn and take ownership.
