Role: IoT / IT General Architect Location: Greensboro, NCCore Skills: IoT Architecture, Predictive Maintenance, Equipment/Sensor Data, ML/AI, MES/ERP, AWS/Azure, Enterprise Integration, Mobile Applications & Application DevelopmentDescription of ServicesThe role is focused on IoT and IT architecture, with an emphasis on enterprise solutions, predictive maintenance, equipment data, cloud technologies, and application development.The ideal candidate should have experience designing and deploying enterprise IoT solutions that integrate equipment data, sensors, machine learning/AI, mobile applications, notifications, and enterprise integrations.The position will also be responsible for reviewing application portfolios and identifying opportunities to improve stability, performance, scalability, and overall complexity.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deploy Predictive Maintenance (PdM) enterprise solutions.Integrate equipment and sensor data, including:HeatVibrationCycle timesMachine/equipment telemetryIntegrate Machine Learning / AI models into enterprise IoT solutions.Design and integrate mobile applications, notifications, and enterprise systems.Work across IoT, MES, ERP, cloud, and enterprise application environments.Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify opportunities for:Improved stabilityEnhanced performanceComplexity reductionApplication modernizationProvide architecture guidance and technical leadership.Apply enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to develop scalable solutions.Provide hands-on application development support as required.Contribute to solution design, technical configuration, and implementation activitiesPreferred CertificationsTOGAFArchiMateOther Enterprise Architecture frameworksMES or ERP platform certifications, such as:SAP PP/MERockwellSiemensPMP or Agile Project Management certificationsAWS Solution Architect certificationAzure Solution Architect certification
