Company Description 21 Academy is a licensed Further and Higher Education Institution in Malta. The Academy focuses on helping learners and clients deepen their industry-specific knowledge, acquire new skills to address contemporary challenges, and realise their full potential. It offers accredited short and long courses across various fields, workshops for employers and employees, and customised in-house training that can also be accredited. Most courses and workshops are delivered at the Academy’s premises in Naxxar by experienced tutors who are established professionals in their respective sectors.Role Description: The IQA Officer role at 21 Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Naxxar. The IQA Officer is responsible for implementing and maintaining internal quality assurance procedures across all courses and training programmes, ensuring they comply with institutional and national standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing course documentation, monitoring assessment practices, supporting tutors in applying quality standards, and coordinating regular audits and evaluations. The role involves analysing feedback from learners and stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement, and preparing clear reports and recommendations for management. The IQA Officer also collaborates with academic and administrative teams to develop and update policies, contribute to accreditation processes, and promote a consistent culture of quality throughout the Academy.The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised MQF Level 7 qualification or higher, preferably in Education, Quality Assurance, Educational Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Relevant experience in further/higher education, academic administration, quality assurance or compliance
• Strong analytical, organisational and report-writing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work systematically with evidence and institutional records
• Knowledge of the MFHEA National Quality Assurance Framework will be considered an advantageExperience in programme review, academic monitoring, internal audits or MFHEA quality assurance processes will be considered an advantage
