We foster a collaborative culture that values diversity, creativity, and professional growth.About the RoleThe role requires a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design, consultancy, and site supervision, particularly in irrigation and water infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of various water systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.ResponsibilitiesMinimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong combination of design, engineering consultancy, and site supervision experience in irrigation, water infrastructure, and pumping systems.Proven experience in the design and supervision of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and bubbler systems.Experience conducting hydraulic calculations, pressure testing, hydraulic troubleshooting, and pump performance assessments.Strong experience in the design and supervision of water pipelines, connection chambers, pumping stations, irrigation networks, and non-disruptive road crossings.Experience preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, hydraulic designs, technical drawings, specifications, procurement documents, installation packages, technical reports, and detailed analyses.Ability to independently define engineering problems, establish the scope of work, develop schedules, plan activities, provide technical direction, and monitor project progress.Experience reviewing and approving technical submittals, material proposals, shop drawings, method statements, and contractor submissions.Proven ability to coordinate design requirements with site execution, identify design discrepancies, and provide practical engineering solutions during construction.Experience in site supervision, including monitoring contractor activities, inspecting installations, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications, and witnessing testing and commissioning activities.Knowledge of water quality, irrigation efficiency, water management, and sustainable irrigation solutions, with the ability to recommend appropriate systems, materials, and products.Experience preparing irrigation logs, water consumption reports, pump performance reports, inspection reports, and progress reports.Ability to conduct technical audits and ensure compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, quality standards, and approved designs.Experience supervising junior engineers, technicians, and site personnel, including providing technical guidance and performance feedback.Strong knowledge of Dubai infrastructure networks and applicable Dubai Municipality requirements.Dubai Municipality-approved Mechanical Engineer is required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong coordination abilities across clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other relevant engineering/design software.QualificationsEducation details: Dubai Municipality-approved Mechanical Engineer is required.Required SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other relevant engineering/design software.
