Islamic and Qur'an Teacher

Role Description The Islamic and Qur'an Teacher role is a full-time on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The teacher will deliver engaging lessons in Qur'an recitation, memorization, Tajweed, and Islamic studies, following the institute’s curriculum and guidelines. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes to different age groups, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to learners and families. The role involves maintaining a respectful, inclusive classroom environment, integrating moral education into lessons, and collaborating with colleagues to support overall student development. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and co-curricular activities that strengthen Islamic values and character.QualificationsStrong foundation in Education and Teaching, with proven experience as an Islamic and Qur'an Teacher.Ability to create structured, age-appropriate Lesson Planning and training materials for Qur'an and Islamic studies.Excellent Communication skills for engaging learners, collaborating with families, and working with colleagues.Experience in Training learners in Qur'an recitation, memorization, Tajweed, and Islamic etiquette.Recognized qualification in Islamic studies, Qur'an, or related field; Ijazah or equivalent certification in Qur'an recitation is an advantage.Fluency in English for instruction and communication; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to work with children and youth in a multicultural environment, maintaining high standards of ethics and professionalism.Commitment to learner-centered teaching, continuous professional development, and promoting inclusive Islamic values.
