قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجCentral Bank of Oman is seeking to recruit competent, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to work as Islamic Banking Executive .Purpose of the Position:Responsible for supporting the development and enhancement of the Islamic financial market in Oman by assisting in the formulation of strategies, policies, and Shari’a-compliant financial instruments, as well as coordinating with domestic and international stakeholders to promote a robust and sustainable Islamic finance ecosystem.Key Duties and Tasks:Assisting in the formulation and development of strategies, policies, and Shari’a-compliant monetary and financial instruments to support the growth of the Islamic financial market in Oman.Supporting initiatives to develop and strengthen the primary and secondary markets for Sukuk and other Islamic financial instruments in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, Financial Services Authority and other relevant regulators.Conducting research, analytical studies, and market assessments on Islamic finance developments, trends, and opportunities to support evidence-based policy formulation and financial market development initiatives.Assisting in the design and development of Shari’a-compliant financial instruments aimed at promoting financial market deepening, financial inclusion, and sustainable finance initiatives.Coordinating with internal departments, government ministries, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of Islamic financial market development initiatives.Supporting the preparation of internal memoranda, analytical reports, and policy papers for senior management and relevant committees on Islamic financial market developments and initiatives.Assisting in the planning and implementation of outreach and promotional initiatives to enhance awareness of government Sukuk and Islamic financial instruments among regional and international investors.Supporting the organization and participation in seminars, workshops, conferences, and market development initiatives related to Islamic finance and capital markets.Facilitating cooperation and engagement with international standard-setting and industry organizations such as the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) and the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).Representing the Central Bank in international and regional forums related to Islamic financial market development, Shari’a governance, and Islamic finance best practices.Coordination with domestic and international regulators, financial institutions, and market participants on issues related to Islamic financial market development.Providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and training support to junior staff and Omani employees within the department.Performing any other duties related to Islamic financial market development as assigned by the management of the Central Bank.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:A Graduate / Post Graduate degree in Economics, Commerce or professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance. OR A Graduate Degree in Islamic Banking or Finance or Islamic Jurisprudence with Shari’a compliance / Fiqh Al Muamalat10 years of relevant experience of banking, finance, capital markets, or Islamic finance, with exposure to Islamic financial markets, Sukuk structures, or financial sector policy development.Desirable Experience:Experience in central banks, regulatory authorities, multilateral institutions, or financial market development roles involving Islamic finance and capital markets.Please Submit your application before 13th September 2026.
