Islamic Studies Teacher (Islamic A – Arab Students) | FS2 & Primary

English Language Private School, a British-curriculum school in Dubai, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Islamic Studies Teacher – Islamic A for the 2026–27 academic year.This position is specifically for teaching Islamic Education (Islamic A) to Arab students across FS2 and Primary. We are looking for an educator with a strong understanding of the UAE Islamic Education curriculum who can provide engaging, meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences for younger students.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver high-quality Islamic Education lessons aligned with UAE curriculum requirements.Provide engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences for FS2 and Primary students.Assess and monitor students’ attainment and progress and use assessment effectively to inform teaching.Support students in developing their Islamic knowledge, values, character and application of learning in everyday life.Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development.Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of Islamic Education across the school.Work collaboratively with colleagues, school leadership and parents.Candidate RequirementsRelevant Bachelor’s degree meeting applicable KHDA teacher appointment requirements.Recognised teaching qualification meeting applicable KHDA requirements.Experience teaching Islamic Studies (Islamic A) to Arab students.Strong Arabic proficiency appropriate for teaching Islamic Education.Strong knowledge and understanding of the UAE Islamic Education curriculum.Experience teaching FS2 and/or Primary-aged students is highly desirable.UAE school experience is preferred.Ability to communicate effectively in English within a professional school environment.Strong classroom management and communication skills.Availability to join at the start of the 2026–27 academic year is preferred.Safeguarding & Safer RecruitmentEnglish Language Private School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
