Working within Core42's Information Technology department, the role ensures end-user devices and hardware systems operate efficiently while minimizing downtime. This is an expert-level position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Your key responsibilities Hardware installation & maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals; perform preventive and corrective maintenance; and replace faulty components.Technical support: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues, install Windows and drivers, and support meeting-room equipment.Asset management: Maintain the hardware inventory and update asset records; track warranties, repairs, procurement, and disposal.Documentation & reporting: Maintain maintenance records, prepare reports, update SOPs, and ensure policy compliance.What we’re looking for(a) Required skills / qualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ and ITIL Foundation.Expert-level, hands-on experience with desktops, laptops, and end-user device hardware.Strong working knowledge of the Windows operating system.Experience administering Microsoft environments and Active Directory.Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Experience with IT Asset Management and ticketing systems.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.Fluency in Arabic and English.(b) Preferred skills / qualificationsUAE Nationals (UAEN) are strongly encouraged to apply.Valid UAE driving license.What working at Core42 offers With a diverse team of 1,100+ employees from 68 nationalities, we foster an inclusive, innovative and collaborative environment.
