Job Title: IT Assistant – Security and Networking Instructor [ Emarati Talent ]Job Purpose:To provide IT support and deliver practical training in networking, cybersecurity, and IT security fundamentals.

The role involves assisting with IT infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network security, and helping learners develop the technical skills required for IT support, networking, and cybersecurity roles.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support for computers, printers, software, and network connectivity.Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.NetworkingTeach networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, OSI model, IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP.Demonstrate LAN/WAN configuration, routing, switching, VLANs, and wireless networking.Assist with configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.Introduce network monitoring, connectivity testing, and network performance analysis.Guide learners through practical networking labs and troubleshooting exercises.Cybersecurity and IT Security TrainingDeliver introductory training in cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.Explain firewall configuration, antivirus solutions, access control, authentication, and encryption.Teach security best practices, password policies, phishing awareness, and secure system administration.Instruction and Student SupportPrepare lesson plans, presentations, practical exercises, and lab assessments.Conduct classroom sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and guided technical workshops.Assess student performance through practical tasks, quizzes, and projects.Support students with technical questions and individual learning needs.Maintain attendance, assessment results, and training progress records.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Relevant IT support, networking, or cybersecurity experience.Strong understanding of computer systems, network infrastructure, and IT security principles.Practical experience with Windows operating systems, network troubleshooting, and security tools.Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
