IT Business Analyst

About the RoleOur client is looking for a Business Analyst to support audit-focused projects, working closely with clients to analyze freight rate agreements, shipment data, and business rules. This is a client-facing role that combines business analysis, project coordination, and data analysis to drive accurate processing and continuous improvement.The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively while supporting end-to-end project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret freight rate agreements and business rules to support configuration in internal systemsWork with large and complex datasets (shipment, invoice, and audit data) to identify trends, discrepancies, and insightsGather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements from clients and stakeholdersSupport project delivery by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and managing timelines and dependenciesAct as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries, resolving issues, and providing consultative supportBuild strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solvingAnalyze processed data and provide tailored solutions, reports, and recommendations based on client needsFacilitate training sessions for clients and external users on systems and servicesDevelop and maintain documentation including user guides, process flows, and requirement documentsEscalate and communicate key issues to internal stakeholders in a timely mannerContinuously identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and client experienceKey RequirementsBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent experienceat least 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, client-facing roles, or technical service environmentsStrong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasetsHands-on experience with data tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similarExposure to project management or project coordination, with the ability to manage timelines and stakeholdersExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both written and verbal)Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
