IT Business analyst

Your new company A well-established international asset management firm is seeking an IT business analyst to join its Hong Kong team. The organisation has a strong presence across Asia and supports a diverse range of investment strategies, including private equity and institutional asset management. Your new roleTo support the implementation, enhancement and maintenance of business applications across the organization particularly for the private equity business.To act as a bridge with IT infrastructure/system vendors, business users, and ITG members.To drive digital transformation initiatives, including adoption of AI technologies and workflow automationsTo assist the team in handling Private Equity-related business application (portfolio management system) projects and ad-hoc small requests.To work with external IT service providers for the administration of Microsoft 365 (including Copilot AI) and other IT network infrastructure (no deep hardware/network knowledge required).To assist with the daily operations of the IT Group, including, but not limited to, arranging meetings with business users and vendors, tracking progress and drafting timelines, recording budget and payments, and preparing meeting agendas and minutes.To review automation tools developed by business users, including but not limited to Microsoft Power Automate and VBA.To assist in maintaining other business applications, including MDM (Mobile Device Management), project management platform (JIRA) and AML tools.To troubleshoot system / application issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal stakeholders.To ensure the group's operation is in compliance with the statutory requirements and the policy and procedures are in line with requirements.What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.2-3 years of experience in IT support, business applications, business analysis, project coordination, or technology operations.Exposure to Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Jira, or enterprise business applications.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to coordinate effectively with both business and technical teams.Experience in financial services, asset management, banking, or insurance is advantageous.Familiarity with Japanese corporate environments or basic Japanese language skills would be beneficial.Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
