IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities and DutiesGather, analyze, and transform business requirements into functional documentation.Act as a bridge between the client's business stakeholders and the technical team.Conduct workshops with clients to perform deep-dive business analysis.Author key project documents, including BRD, FSD, SRS, and User Stories.Collaborate closely with SA, PM, and Developers to propose appropriate solutions.Define business rules and validation logic.Support SIT/UAT processes and develop business test cases.Verify and obtain UAT sign-off from clients.Manage product backlogs and handle Change Requests (CR).Perform other duties as requested by superiors.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher, majoring in related disciplines.About 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.Experience as a BA in Web Application/Web-based system development projects, with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, to deployment.Fluent English communication.Understand about project management with Waterfall, Scrum or Agile methodologies.Expertise in authoring BRD, FSD, and SRS documents.Break down requirements into Epics, Features and User Stories.Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles, APIs, and data flows.Ability to model processes using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and UML (Unified Modeling Language).Excellent communication skills with both business and IT stakeholders.Strong logical analysis and analytical thinking.Proven presentation and workshop facilitation skills.Proficient in change management and expectation management.Excellent communicative, pro-active, and ability to work under pressure.Experience in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, etc.) to support daily tasks, improve productivity, and optimize work processes.
